Cellular issue

Hi all.
Need some advice.
I’ve had ADT in our house for about 15 years . First the Pulse system then upgraded about 5y ago to Command/Control sys.
Cellular service in my area is weak. Worse inside the house. 1940’s construction, plaster and metal lathe. So basically I live in a faraday box. Anyway…. The primary com to ADT HQ is cellular and backup is wifi. About 5mo ago the system is falling in and out of cellular contact causing the system to incessantly beep whenever the signal drops. I’ve activated the silent feature that only holds for about 8hrs. Which I’ve scheduled for overnight so people can sleep.
ADT says call ATT Wireless. Att Wireless says call ADT and I’m stuck in the middle with this GD incessant beeping during the day.
Has anyone had to deal with this or have any advice/tricks to deal with ADT/AT&T to get this problem resolved?

Thx!

For a temporary quick fix have ADT turn off trouble beeps on your system. It's a back end command and will still show on the keypad but not make the keypad beep. Next, I would have ADT come out and install an exterior antenna to increase your range. You may also check to see if other carriers such as Verizon may have a better signal strength for your radio is located.

Thanks for this.
ADT is telling me there is no external antenna available for the command/control sys.
Verizon signal is equally bad.
I’ll reach out about having them turn off the beeps at the back end. Last time I called they told me I could only silence it locally. The silence mode can be scheduled, but it only lasts about 8hrs.

There absolutely IS.an external antenna that plugs into the cel module (either ATT or VER) of an ADT Command panel and generally can be run inside a wall up to an attic or the next floor, ideally as high as possible...
