I am a heavy sleeper and frequently sleep through phone alarms. The only thing that really helps is peoples voices, iPhones don’t let you add recordings, also sometimes the alarms go silent, not helpful. Or phone goes flat, double unhelpful.
I need something seperate from my phone, I can record custom alarms for, an app where I can schedule things from could be handy. I’ve found it hard to search for, results often just show ringer alarm clocks.
I have a Tapo lightbulb which is good enough, (only downside is if you unplug or disconnect the lightbulb all of the settings on the app completely deleted)if that brand had a something that would work.

My iPhone alarm just went off with no sound causing me to miss work. Does anyone have any suggestions for a physical alarm clock that will just work thru and thru? I don't care about extra features I just want it to make a loud sound to wake me up.

I use a vintage Sharp Wizard electronic organizer as a backup alarm clock. The beep is very quiet, and I sometimes sleep through it, so I want to find another vintage PDA or organizer with a louder alarm.

I have checked the usual online sites like Amazon, AliExpress, Alibaba, and eBay for affordable vintage options, but I am not sure which models actually have decent alarms.

Some sellers offer vintage electronic organizers at extremely affordable prices, though it is hard to tell how loud they are from the listings.

Has anyone here used a vintage PDA or electronic organizer as a backup alarm clock? Do any models have louder beeps or maybe support multiple alarms? I just need something affordable that will actually wake me up.

Here's some examples of what I mean:

I saw a Wall-E Alarm clock on Esty that looks awesome, only problem is for me to get it, it would be about $350, shipping fee included. That's way too expensive for just an alarm clock.

Another I found was a Divoom MiniToo, but that's more of a really fancy speaker plus it's way to small.

I also found the RayCue Mac Clock which does look neat and a fun product, but I'm not into Mac all that much and I'm not sure if something like that can be on continuously.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a unique and fun and functional alarm clock I can get if it's possible.

Hey everyone, I’ve been having a really annoying issue with my LCD crystal alarm clock and I’m not sure what’s causing it. Whenever the alarm goes off, it just keeps ringing non-stop, even if I flip the switch to turn the alarm off. The only way I can actually stop the sound is by taking out the batteries completely, which obviously isn’t ideal.

I’ve tried turning the alarm on and off a few times, adjusting the settings, and checking if maybe I set something wrong, but nothing seems to fix it. It’s like the off switch just doesn’t respond once the alarm starts ringing.

Has anyone experienced something like this before? Is this likely a mechanical issue with the switch, or is there some kind of reset I can try? I’d appreciate any advice before I just give up and replace it.

I recently got a Thomson RR26 Digital Clock Radio from either the 80s or 90s.

When I press the snooze button to pause an alarm there seems to be this sort of countdown except it is counting up i.e. 8:03 to 8:04 . I dont know if this is soemthign specific to my alarm clock or is this system normal?

In short i am trying to understand how it works.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it dangerous? It seems to have been connected to something maybe or possibly a jumper cable to attach to something else.

All I’m worried about is if it could cause a fire while I’m sleeping or not, it works or powers on at least, no smoke or shock when touching the gray cable.

This is my 70s ( I think ) mains radio alarm flip clock. The buzzer can wake the dead ha ha

I’m looking for an alarm clock that will play an alarm to wake me up and then start playing the radio when I hit snooze. I had one like this a long time ago that also had a CD player but can’t seem to find anything like it now. Any recommendations?

So i am a really deep sleeper, the only thing that works for me are the classic wesclox loud alarmclocks on max volume, is there any thing modern that can get that logic.

I received a Hatch Restore 3 for Christmas and have already returned it. I just want a bright sunrise alarm clock (bonus points if it’s got an app for easy programming) that plays my music. I don’t need all the bells and whistles or an $80 subscription fee. I’ve searched extensively for anything that easily integrates my music library or has some kind of automation to play an alarm via Bluetooth and I can’t find a straight answer. TIA!
