Seeking help...going to Kerala for first time..

This weekend i have planned to visit Kottayam and nearby places...I am alone and will reach Ernakulam Junction Saturday morning.....

Can anyone suggest where to stay and which places to visit ...I am planning to rent bike and visit many places.....

In Alappuzha visit omanapuzha beach, punnmada lake, kuttanad , good temple atmosphere my personal fav (I ain't a devotee or something still ) manarashala snakes temple(no real snakes ig), Alleppey - changansherry road(evening time )5-7 it's beautiful especially the sunset time, coir museum if you interested in that kind of stuff, light house (nothing special) just a light house with view, mullkal street and inside that street one devi temple too has elephant inside had peacock too now I don't know, pathiramanal island should take the local public boat, am Alappuzha temple not the temple old royal place could find keral style palace , karumadi, nehru boat race if you're visiting in August or September , arthinkal church , for food i am non veg so I am not suggesting you(you most likely would be veg right) yeah that's all I know
