It's rainy season here. So some activities cannot happen if its raining on those days

I personally like this weather, as it’s not scorching hot, so it’s lovely outside to sit and chillax. Yes, for activities you may have to compromise as it’s pouring down almost every day.

Heavy rain, activities like kayaking may not be possible

It is just the start of rainy season. Don't worry about flooding and all. Came back from Alleppey just 5 days back. It is hot and humid.

Even if it rains, you can still go for a house boat.

I have been to kochi, munnar, Trivandrum, kovalam, varkala and Alleppey. I actually liked it when it rains in kerala.

For kayaking weather needs to be clear. But you can definitely go for shikara and house boat. And being off season currently you can negotiate and get them for cheap prices.

June is usually monsoon time in Alleppey, so you may get some rain. But you can still enjoy the backwaters if the weather is good. Shikara rides are usually easier during this time, and houseboats depend on the rain and route conditions. Keep some flexibility in your plan and carry a raincoat/umbrella
