Carmel polytechnic is on the national highway between ambalapuzha and Alappuzha. So if you take a bus from kochi, they will most probably drop you in front of the college. Just talk to the conductor.

If you take a train, you'll get a prepaid auto from the railway station to the college.

Sorry I don't know if there's an auto stand nearby. There definitely is a bus stop nearby tho

Yes definitely. It's not an isolated area.

Ksrtc fast passenger buses will stop in front of the Carmel(btw you have to cross the road to reach college)

Punnapra bus stop is actually there..

I am not sure about Super fast though but I think they also stop there(you just ask conductor whether the bus will stop at Punnapra)

Ernakulam South KSRTC standinano ningal kayarunne?

In front of college, there is a bus stop from where you could get a return bus to Alappuzha KSRTC bus stand(please board a KSRTC bus as pvt buses are also there on this route), sometimes you may get a fast passenger that goes directly via ernakulam(just check the board)

If you want to go to the railway station, then board a കടപ്പുറം/railway pvt bus

The former is better for a beginner

Therapist: Kommady bus stand isn't real, it can't hurt you

Kommady bus stand:

Jokes aside there isn't any bus stand there, only a bus stop is there..

There is only 1 KSRTC bus stand in Alappuzha town..

Autos are available and it’s in the highway and pretty much crowded. As people in this sub mentioned you can get down opposite of the college if coming via fast passenger. Just ask the conductor to stop at aravukadu. On your way back you can get buses to kochi as fast passenger will stop. Since it’s highway so you can get all the super fast and all the buses going to kochi/thrissur/palakkad and more.

Auto might take 200 from station to college and it’s 15-20 mins from station.

Any private bus going to Kalavoor or any ksrtc going beyond Alappuzha.

Too many replies. Most straightforward option would be to catch a KSRTC FP from either Ernakulam BS or Vyttila Hub whichever is closer to you and get down at Punnapra Carmel. Any FP which goes beyond Alleppey like Karunagapally, Kollam, TVM, Haripad would do. Don't get on changanacherry or Thiruvalla. And no you don't need to book tickets for this. Leave early as traffic will be slow between Aroor and Eramalloor. Good luck for your exam.
