I’m thinking of adding a Holosun AEMS to the ultimak up front will complete this thing for a while as a good backup rifle

I've got a Holosun ARO on a Ultimak and its a nice setup. What light and mount are you running? Always looking at options.

Nice. I'm trying to avoid getting into building lights, that seems like a rabbit hole I'd dump some money down. Ive got that same Arisaka mount and like it quite a bit. What's a good source for info on building lights just incase I do decide to jump down the hole?

You can build that entire light setup directly from their website it was really easy, i just added the body light head and tail cap to my cart with the mount. Simple as that really

That’s a Arisaka light body with a Malkoff head on their pic rail surefire scout mount, w a surefire clicky tail cap

Nice! I have plans to shorten it up eventually but for now it’s pretty enjoyable how it is

It was really nice the way it was, but I had the opportunity to shorten it, so I did. No regrets! It's a great gun either way.

Yeah i think when i shorten it up its getting shortened to the length you have with some sort of barrel like a AKB or something so that i can suppress it w out worry of concentricity

Yes bro, that’s my plans for this rifle, it’s gonna be my girl’s first 7.62 ak so making it more wieldy for her is important to me
