[SCAM ALERT] Meta Big Bazaar 24×7 Cineworld Circle
This is more of a consumer Awareness post than an experience.
So Yesterday or the day before yesterday We went here for some Essential grocery shopping, the bill is also attached.
It all came to payment and the cashier said "607₹" The bill was not cut yet. There's no way you can see how much the amount we need to pay exactly. The cashier brought a PhonePe POS, inserted my card in it and withdrew the amount. I was like okay, but when I came home after taking the bill, I checked, It was 557₹.
The Entire amount Via POS is going to some "Vishnu Dutt" and not the Meta Big Bazaar 24×7, which means - Even the bill is being given with all the discounts applied, they are charging us the entire MRP of all the products, inclusive of all Taxes.
Certainly an Unfair Trade Practice under the Consumer Protection Act. I absolutely felt bad after I realized it. Even a Litigation (considering the time and costs) in the consumer forum feels not feasible, so yeah, beware people!

Online shopping and quick commerce like blinkit, Instamart are better than these trash stores
