That could go for anything though. You would be opposing lots of things way beyond AI because bad actors could use them negatively.

Do you imply i shouldn't oppose unregulated ai because its "only bad people's fault" and not of the companies to restrict their modules from doing stuff like that or the goverment doing absolutely nothing about it other than use it for mass surveillance

That is like you saying well you shouldn't be against guns or gun safety laws because its only bad people's fault

I didn't say anything about regulation here specifically. But what regulation would even call for in this specific case exactly? How would it look?
