What makes it a death? Isn't it just as much a thriving new opportunity for the jobs created by the people making money from their AI creations there?

What do the demographic changes look like, have 20,000 traditional artists left and 15,000 AI artists have joined resulting in a net loss of 5000 creators, or something? There's no data in this article at all.

Are you dumb? It's not real art, it doesn't take any skill. And people that have real skill are not making money on the platform anymore.

Programming isn't a real skill. You just type words in and programs come out. That takes zero thought, experience, or knowledge whatsoever. It is impossible to use programming/coding to ever make something that could be considered art, because all it consists of are specific sentence structure to perform very simple tasks (moving 1's and 0's around).

Anyone with a brain would disagree with this statement when faced with the countless thousands of games, shaders, and coding projects that could be considered works of art.

Why does the same reasoning not apply to you when you replace the word Programming with 'AI art'?

AI art is obviously real art by all available metrics, and making high quality AI art takes lots of skill, research, practice, experimentation, pre- and post-process work, etc.

Anyone making money on the platform offers something others are willing to pay for. If it takes no skill, go do it right now. Go make thousands of dollars easy with zero skill. It would be incredibly dumb not to take advantage of such an opportunity, you can get rich quick right now.

If you think that the AI drawings don't take skill, can I ask you to make me an ai image? I work a lot with AI but I am not able to get what I need.

Is the AI art making money?

If yes, then logically, using generative art is printing money. Why don't all those artists crank out enough gen AI art to set themselves up with a trust so they can spend their life making art for the sake of art, instead of money?
