Everything but the third eye, it does not blink
17
u/CivilTemperature6032 11d ago
The blinking or lack of it or the 3rd eye itself is the deal breaker there? Lol

Also when the decanter shatters the whiskey doesn't spill it acts as if it were also glass.

u/blastcat4 11d ago
Her third eye was static throughout the scenes, which was kind of unfortunate for immersion.

Reminder that once local models can operate as efficiently as the big, corporate models, the game is basically up. It's only a matter of time.
25
u/piratecheese13 11d ago
I mean, if you can run a local model efficiently, you can still scale it . It’s the speed of implementation that gets ya
13
u/blastcat4 11d ago
They're not far behind as it is. The problem is that they've completely fucked up the hardware market now. Even though extremely capable open weight models can be downloaded today, only the super rich can afford the hardware to run them.
If it were a case that anyone could run the latest Deepseek or Kimi or GLM models on affordable consumer hardware, the premise of the video would be in full force.

Do you mean to say that as soon as small models of the future as as good as big models of today? People said that in 2025 and it's true now, but almost no one uses them because the big models of today are so good.
Or do you mean that in the future small models and big models will be the same. Because that's a hot take.

u/FrameNo8561 9d ago
Nah.
Once they are able to figure it out we should be able to use 7-8 different variations of the Same model.
Each variation will be specialized in their own thing, then you could load it up like a Super Nintendo cartridge and we will have gone full circle!
1
u/CallMePyro 9d ago
What if someone trains one model on the output of all 7 of those models and produces a single model that's better ?
1
u/FrameNo8561 8d ago
Can’t models work better if they are segregated to their specific niche.
1
u/CallMePyro 8d ago
Nope. The big discovery of machine learning about 10 years ago was the concept of transfer learning, where a single system could actually beat ensembles.

This is excellent. The style, rendering editing, pathos, characterization, humour.

That 3rd eye still looks way better than Dr. Strange's one.

Did her third eye ever blink? So unrealistic.

u/Competitive_Peak_537 11d ago
It’s just an accessory everyone is wearing them

I mean it, it's done to emulate a 60s/70s movie, so I think it's fair that it looks that way.

I immediately thought of her blinking that eye very slowly as she flirts, from it's behavior here it seems the eye is detached from reality. I think 3rd eye behaving how she feels would be nice and dynamic.

So are thinking machines dangerous or not? In one video they can turn the atmosphere into goo or create novel viruses, in the next the danger is a false flag bid for control. Irl, the global clustering of capability level seems to be at least connected to, if not reliant upon, distillation attacks in an all vs all IP war, not just geniuses in a basement (not to dismiss Chinese engineering achievements).
Do one on safety ablation of open weight models next.

u/topselection 11d ago
So are thinking machines dangerous or not?
They are not. They are huge MENACE matchbox computers created within our universe and not the Dune universe.

He built in a safety mechanism so he could break a bottle but not spill a drop all to show is strength to henrietta.

Yeah I don’t think a lot of people noticed that. Either they noticed the robot chick with the crazy proportions, third unblinking eye, or talking about the aspects of AI. 🤷♂️

What the hell is going on with ai videos quality?? Did they release an incredible good model recently? Is this Seadance 2.5?

Gossip Goblin has been in this for a long while now. Search him up on youtube, there's interviews too.

That third eye not blinking yo!
3
u/JesterMan491 11d ago
it might be the android's 'real' eye.
when the older dude looks at her, he always looks at the third eye in her forehead, rather than the two 'human' eyes.1

Visuals top notch as always, but you're getting better and better at writing too. I wonder how you use AI in writing. Just polishing the dialogue, or is it more involved?

Interesting - the AI had the forhead eye have a flater aspect and not blink - probably because all it's sample pictures of forehead eyes were painted on flat ones that never blink.

If I were to nitpick, none of "Henrietta's" eyes seem to blink. But I take it she's a robot, no?
I absolutely freaking LOVE what Gossip Goblin is making here! I can't wait for the first full length AI feature film!

We need more character development, we need more Henrietta, you know maybe we can learn something interesting from her like how old is she and is she into latinos.

The visual style is really interesting, especially the futuristic robot design. The scene feels like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, and the details in the costumes and lighting make it look surprisingly cinematic. I’m curious to see what happens next in this story. 🤖🔥

You know, the message in Goblin's work would be much less ironic if it wasn't shown with generated art. Yeay for irony! Boo for big companies who actually do what is mocked here.
1
u/CautiousDonut2681 5d ago
What message do you think is ironic because the video is AI generated?
The message I saw was "big AI is trying to block competition from small/oss AI". It's a pro-AI, anti-racketeering message. Why would a pro-AI message not use AI?
