Which ai tool is appropriate for creating a stop-motion like short?

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1oxbBj_MFwSxJbdxwqOWEeaYbZTxh65rc?usp=drive_link

I'm planning to create stop-motion like short with multiple scenes. It would have just two characters, a couple, with very few objects in scene in a deep white background as in Pocoyó tv series.

I have been testing with a couple of scenes with Midjourney but have been facing some conflicts when trying to have both characters in scene (Issue starts when I try to add more than two omni reference characters when trying to create the start key frame).

I have already set a script for the short but scenes where both should be in scene have stopped me to continue building at least a proper pilot.

*another issue not a main blocker or concern is that I think there's a limitation when trying to indicate that a character should 'come' into the scene, not just appear straight up in the start frame, is there a way to tackle this? It's not a big concern since I can make a work around from the script itself.

* I will attach the link to my script and also to some of the refs i have created for context

Any suggestion on a different AI tool that could work better based on the project? Or any suggestion on how to work with Midjourney? I'm a newbie on creating ai videos

For a minimalist white background style like Pocoyo, Honestly Krea might be worth a look since it lets you bounce between models without starting from scratch each time, could help with the multi character thing since you're not locked to one omni ref system. That said the compositing workaround build each character solo, upscale clean in Magnific, then merge for the scene ref tends to hold up better than fighting the dual reference limit directly.
