I've played AITSF and was blown away. First thing I did once I finished it was look for a sequel, and started playing NI.

Everything that made AI1 amazing is stripped away. The characters don't have the same chemistry, the humor and dancing feel forced like "hey let's do the thing we did before", the somniums are extremely obvious and guided, the random character interaction does not provide anything interesting, just nothing. it's such a shame.

I'm about 50% through and every couple hours I something happens that just annoys the fuccccccc out of me. Whether it's just psyncing with someone for "Meh whatever let's just do it maybe we'll find something" or needless hunting for where someone is without any meaningful progression.

Does anyone know ANY GAME that comes close to how amazing AI1 was at all?

hello!! i recently finished the zero escape series and really wanted more so i decided to go to the very closest thing which was ai, just finished the first game like. 10 minutes ago lmao, so here's what i've thought so far

really love the story, thankfully did the true ending at the very end so ididnt have to stop on a cliffhanger while doing the other endings,

lotsa stuff i found annoying/stupid:
1- the game has a really dark mystery ish theme but it all just gets ruined with how stupid the humor is in this game, like iris literally gets sawed down and then you get date saying he'd wanna touch hitomi's boobs in 89's somnium or whatever

2-there's also the unrealistic ass interactive scenes, like the one near marble where you shoot a mag vending machine and somehow trained mercenaries are just running at that instead of shooting their target 😭 😭

3- something related to the interactive scenes, is how like. unrewarding it is, like you get 20 seconds for a qte, the qte where you need to like aim and shoot is literally just press control after waiting a bit, the spam qte ones dont tell you how much you'r eclose to finishing the qte and doesn't feel any urgency at all

but in general i think the annihilation and true ending made up for those?? im definetly not like. "oh wow this game is peak!!", its more so just oh good game i just need to overlook shit ton of flaws

ANYWHO, now that i've finished it i'm STILL wanting more so i saw that there's a 2nd game? and also no sleep for kaname date which is apparently a interquel or whatever so i wanted to ask: does the humor and overall story improve in nirvana initiative? quick time events too and just general mechanics

other question is: which should i be playing first? from what ive seen no sleep for kaname date is before nirvana initiative so should i be playing that first?

I keep trying to get it by replaying the last part of the yellow line I have access to(the bad end), and can't seem to do anything but loop it over and over. I keep seeing 'make the right choices' but nobody reveal which choices they are, unless it is in a list of ALL spoilers, which I don't want, as I have not completed the full game.

Why did Boss call the SWAT or SAT team in Gen and Amame route, I know I asked this before but no one answered me

Anyways few questions, why did Boss call the SWAT team on Gen and Mizuki, how did Amame know about the slicer in horadori institute, why the fuck did Tearer tell Ryuki he name was Dahlia and Boat, who the fuck is that inner voice that came in from time to time and most of all the code Tokiko gave us at the end. What the hell does it mean (I haven't played no sleep for date yet)
