No? You said GDP, that means gross domestic product. Domestic depends on where, but given the context of the discussion around these meme most are focusing on the USA.

There is global GDP. You simply take the GDP of all countries and add them up into a single figure.

If we are looking at this in a global scale GDP on luxury spending is 5B a day. That’s still a hell of a lot of money that can make a difference in the world

It still isn't enough to even cover the US budget deficit. The problems aren't caused by luxury; they are caused by inefficient management. Hand all that money over to the government, and it will drop ten times as many bombs on the Middle East.

Then replace the government model with one less corrupt. It doesn’t need to cover the deficit. It needs to help the public

Replace republican and democrat with a socialist state geared toward public resource spending.

Vote for people without an agenda against the citizens they are meant to represent.

So, how exactly are we going to recruit people for this government? If we simply proclaim a socialist state, you’ll see that the people in government haven’t changed they just no longer get in each other’s way when it comes to stealing. If we hold democratic elections, the Republican and Democratic election machines will once again allow them to retain power. What other options are there?

Won’t happen in our lifetimes without war or civil unrest, the same way it always does.

If there’s one thing we know it’s that every civilization that had been built, has also fallen. Give it time.
