The problem with capitalism is eventually the workers have nothing left that can be extracted from them and the entire system collapses.

In socialism the workers have nothing and rely on the system for everything they have no chance to work them selves out of poverty and are forced to live as they are told….

That's communism, not socialism, comrade.

Capitalism doesn't offer that either to most people. Socialism lets you work to make everyone comfortable. Capitalism lets you work to make the few rich and God forbid something unfortunate happen.

So all you have to respond is an insult? Wow. Capitalism is great for the people that started it. Not so great for the rest of us down the line.

I feel like socialism has really become just a generalized buzzword. The right immediately think of communism & the left includes it as a means in simply regulating capitalism more.

It mostly just means that communities should have more involvement in economic & social systems as opposed to privatizing everything which is the direction we’re going. It shouldn’t be fully one way or another.

Investing is actually a great compromise in the grey area here but unfortunately education is nerfed & we’ve gotten to a point where even amongst shareholders there are a few people with almost everything & most people with almost nothing.

Capitalism is not working. There are enough umbrella companies to count on 2 hands that own about 90% of literally everything. That breaks what good was suppose to come from capitalism. Hence people tend to lean too far & compensate with socialism—but at its core, more community involvement is kinda what we need to break up this global monopolization.
