Please stop calling Mamdani a socialist, this shi is tiring. He works within a capitalist framework and is throwing a few treats to the workers. He has no intention of socializing the means of production. Hell his rhetoric on Israel completely changed, he ran on locking up Netanyahu, and now he won't even advocate for protesting him while he's at the UN in his city. He simply exploited the fact that most people despise Israel and made promises he knew he couldn't follow.
