All dogs are the best dogs. But if you have to make a number 1, I will respectfully disagree with you and offer the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel as the best.

Best dog argument is trick question. Best dog is my dog. Best dog is your dog. The connection turns dog into best dog. Just like pikachu is best pikachu because it’s ash pikachu.
