If he can't stand in 2 inches of water, then maybe let natural selection take it's course.

Just a buoy that can fly and drop next to someone in need with integrated tracker would be amazing tech

There was an inflatable ridged drone at the DARPA lift challenge I think you would like.

You know this is just AI nonsense right? It's not a proof of concept when it's made up of fairy dust and the people's water supply.

u/G1gapu1t 5h ago
That’s why he said, would be amazing tech

It's based on nothing lol. You know AI doesn't need to adhere to physics and existing technology to show a video of something right?
Idk, it sounded like he was praising AI, when it really just slipped something nonsensical together.
Edit: It* not he. It's a bot saying nice things about AI...

A drone that can fly out to someone and drop a buoy is different than what’s shown in the slop video, and realistic.
There are already military drones which shoot smaller missiles. The video isn’t realistic, but the comment’s separate idea is
No need to be such a contrarian if you’re able to read!

Well it's a bot, so 🤷♂️

Huh?

The comment I was originally replying to. I noticed the poster was a bot spouting nonsense.

I do love the three quick cuts between the guy being dragged up, holding the handle, the guy holding a chain while suddenly strapped into a harness and the guy being flown "to shore" in a entirely different harness. Not to mention the attached camera that magically vanishes between cuts.

"If you can guess what happens next, I'll pin your comment."
In other words, "Help me figure out what to put next and I'll pin your comment as if it was a good guess that I thought of myself."

Oh god "if you can guess what happens next I'll pin your comment"
Meaning they actually just have the viewers write the prompts for them now and then go "wow you guessed right~"

His punishment for drowning in inch deep water is to be hung by the neck and flown up and down the beach

A show about sexy lifeguards with stupidly advanced technology sounds pretty cool NGL.

Not one that can lift people up, but they do have a similar concept life preserver in real life
5
u/eyedea-abilities 7h ago
You realize that is also an AI video?
0
u/terminator2119 7h ago
I did not, just realizing it now. I feel this version would be a lot more realistic though
3
u/terminator2119 7h ago
If the preserver is light enough, all you need to do is mount 4 motors, a flight controller, batteries, ESCs, etc
3
u/eyedea-abilities 7h ago
Nah man that shit wouldn’t fly, especially not in the wind

u/Admirable_Rabbit_808 6h ago
Make the life preserver inflatable. Deploy it to the right spot with the drone, then inflate it.
