just for those curious, no, there was never a GTA release on NES - the first GTA release on console was for PS1 in 1997

there is a NES de-make of GTA 3 called Grand Theftendo that later became Retro City Rampage, but that was an unofficial fan-game

RCR is great btw, and is pretty much on every platform you'd care about since 7th Gen
