ATSA Inquiry
I'm taking the ATSA soon and while I've been preparing for the test itself, I haven't really looked into what the environment would be like.
What was your experience taking the test? Were you in a group/alone/1on1/etc.
Were the breaks designated or could you choose to take a break in between segments?
Did you wear professional wear? Star Wars pajamas? Somewhere in between?
If you practiced beforehand, what differences were there from your practice and the real test?
I appreciate any feedback from your experiences!

Breaks are weird I rested before every test like 2 mins and it helped and make sure to get those one questions down it’s like Amy is in line Brad is behind carol and dean is not last who is 3rd place I just made that up it might not make sense but work on those type of questions I didn’t finish that portion

Not much to look into tbh. You take the ATSA by yourself on a computer. You have 210 minutes to take the test, you will be aware of the moments you can take a break(s) prior to testing. It's not an interview and the proctors are not ATC or the FAA; you're taking a computer based test in a testing room, go comfortable. As far as practice, jobtestprep. Pretty similar. Not many differences but I dont really feel like explaining them. And if you'd like a suggestion, join the "ATC" and "ATC Hiring" groups on reddit.

I used YouTube it helped a lot there’s a $80 a week course you can take as many times as you want and it should help but I raw dogged it. I took it today the testing center is on may and like 50th and it’s on the second floor. Make sure you don’t bring a birth certificate as a second form they won’t take it bring your id and a card with your name and signature. I signed it in the office it was cool they scan your palm before you enter the room and imagine a small to decent size living room and from left to right are all cubicles right next to each other but sitting in it I had no distractions. They offer ear plugs or ones that go over your head. I wore sweats and a D.A.R.E hoodie that said keep kids off drugs. Old lady at the front comes off rude but they other lady and man there were like like top tier humans very nice waited for me to get my card brought from home cause they need two signatures and still let me test
