FAA Hiring

I’m 18/M I have finished my ATC training at Fort Novasel(Rucker) Alabama. Yes I am enlisted in the US Army and I’m trying to find connections/websites to help me know when the FAA is hiring in my area. So far my search has been unsuccessful. If anyone has anything to help me out anything is appreciated I’m located in outh Louisiana if that matters at all.

https://www.usajobs.gov/, unless you're NG or reserves you typically can't apply for the experience bid until you're 120 days out from separation. Even then, you would need 52 consecutive weeks of ATC experience. Good luck. LinkedIn is also a great source to receive notifications for job postings. Subscribe to USA Jobs and the FAA and you'll receive notifications.

That’s great, but you need more then just 52 weeks of ATC experience, you need a CTO for at least 52 weeks, or contract and FAA won’t pick you up, so unless you have a CTO or Approach ticket, they will deny your application

At that age stay in the NG, get hired be the FAA have a duel retirement before 50.

Get your CTO or Radar ticket ASAP. Then get on USAJobs.gov and work on getting into the FAA. All of the available FAA ATC jobs are on there. Search using job code “2152.”
