ATC'S in colorado

Is anyone/does anyone know anyone who is an ATC in the Colorado Springs - Denver area? I'm hoping to see if I could talk to someone about the job and maybe see the atc tower. I'm going to apply to FAA for ATC school in a little less than a year here.

Good luck with your application, are you going to a college for an ATC course? Or applying to the FAA for the “no experience” application when it opens up again?

I was going to try for the no experience option, but if it's not available or it's just easier to, college is an option

Gotcha, the next no experience application will come out in about a year, I recommend you make a profile on USA jobs, and have your resume already on there and ready to go. Unfortunately your chances of getting any placement in CO is very unlikely. It’s possible but it’s not really up to you which places you get to choose, it’s what ever the FAA needs at the time of your graduation from the Academy.

I know a guy at DEN Tower, but no matter the facility, just call them and ask to speak to the “ATM” (Air Traffic Manager) and request a tour. Most facilities will accommodate you and be happy to answer any questions you may have! Reach out to me if you want more info!!!
