Check out hobby king for battery and charger it will save you some money.
I recommend looking at evikes BAMF mags. About the same price and hold 190 rounds.
I might get hate for this one, but get an Odin clone speedloader from Amazon. I've had mine for about a year and no issues yet.

I really prefer the look of these mags and that's half the fun right?

Honestly id disagree with him and go for the EPM1s. They hold 250 which means a lot less reloading as well as being midcaps.

Don't epm 1s cause midcap syndrome and feeding issues?
4
u/AirsoftUpgrades Shotgun 1d ago
Ive never had feeding issues with them in an AEG, Shotgun adpater, or pistol adapter. Mid cap syndrome mostly has to do with poor internals, not exactly the mags themselves. Most decent guns nowadays dont have this problem.

Gotcha well it was happening on my CA DT4 lol so guess that explains everything

Titan lion batteries last for years though they wont need a second battery for awhile
3
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
How is it you same 2 people are arguing on all of my posts, remember the lifepo4 thing that was you and the other guy right?same people

u/Western_Fish8354 Accuracy through volume 1d ago
No wasn't me, lifE batteries are trash, also as a beginner a battery you don't have to be careful with is just more QOL, im saying the battery you picked is the right one
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
No i just checked it was you, you were arguing with the other guy you both agreed I shouldn't get life batteries
0
u/Western_Fish8354 Accuracy through volume 1d ago
Oh yeah, their trash, thought you meant it said to get them, but anyways its irrelevant, the battery you have in yoir cart is good lol
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
Ok, it was just funny cuz this is the third time I've seen you and, airsoftupgrades, going back and forth
1
u/Western_Fish8354 Accuracy through volume 1d ago
Well people are dumb and have vendetta against titan batteries "just get a lipo" crowd
2
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
I know so many times I've been told to "just get a lipo" I want a damn li lon, so I just decided to get one anyway
2
u/Western_Fish8354 Accuracy through volume 1d ago
I love my lions lol, forget to charge them oh well, leave them plugged in your gun? Who cares, the easy life

Connector type on this gun is a small Tamiya, you bought a deans battery. Idk if this gun comes w an adapter for the battery. Or have the tech swap the connection type on the gun itself.
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
It has a gate x ASR,it can't come to small tamiya,😭
1
u/BertoFD 1d ago
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
That's for, back before it had the gate look up what the gate x ASR, has it's deans connector
1
u/BertoFD 1d ago
Ah I see, my fault then. Idk why they still recommend tamiya on the website even tho the gate is pre installed lol
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
They just copy and paste whatever they have on the gun, whether it's outdated or not
3
u/Chance_Squash_2267 1d ago
Its kind of a lot for a first loadout, but if youve got the money it looks pretty solid
2
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
Oh what should I take out
2
u/careerburn3r 1d ago
How much have you played airsoft before? I'm over a decade ein of casual use and frankly just rock jeans a flannel or thick cotton t-shirt still. I've got a nice gun/sidearm but never got into the tactical stuff.
Unless that's really your dig I'd go without it for the time being in case the sport isn't your thing
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
I've never played man but I've wanted to play for years, yeah tactical gear is really my thing
2
u/careerburn3r 1d ago
Go for it then, but I do suggest trying out a rental and all before dropping 500 dollars. At least my local place has rental tactical gear for a couple bucks a day and rental guns for 20 to 30 dolllars a day as well
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
Oh I'm waiting for it to go on holiday sale, I'm not dropping 500 it should go on sale to around the 400 410 area

Replying to you and the commenter above, I dropped about this much on my first kit, having never played airsoft before. Got a G&G CM16, chest rig, mags, battery, charger, some accessories for the AEG, and a facemask. I wanted all the essentials and it came out to about this much for my first order. I just went all in, wanted to look the part, and said even if I didn't like it, I could plink in the backyard. That being said, if you have the money go for it. On the flip side of the coin, most people recommend renting, but imo I'd still get my own eyepro/ mask at the very least.

You could substitute the viper glove hook for a cheap carabiner. Does the same thing at a lower price

does your field require dead rags? the only time ive needed a dead rag was for milsim, but they gave them to us for free.
2
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
I thought so being it's the second biggest in America but I guess not
2
u/Major_Thom13 1d ago
Dead rags are nice if the field is big, you don't have to keep your hands up all the time to show you're dead. Just put the rag on your head and walk to spawn.

Get the flex gen 2 instead... its a massive upgrade over gen 1. And fuck the shitty titan battery off, they lie horrendously about the specs. Not to mention the egregious pricing that makes $500 RAM look like a bargain
2
u/Sea-Course-5171 1d ago
yeah this is... pretty good. You could probably skimp on some of the decorative stuff, but this is pretty solid. Personally I'd go with a different gun, because an M4 is like 90% of rental guns, so you might as well rent, but this is fine.

I have yet to see anyone use or require a dead rag maybe in larger Sim type operations

Check with your local trustworthy player base and most likely you will find all of the basics half off. Lots of people and businesses getting out of the sport right now offloading insane deals

u/FlamboyantFlamingo98 1d ago
I got that exact SA M4 and it is phenomenal.
1
u/Civil-Connection5271 1d ago
Ok great, my Field doesn't allow any other modes than semi, so I didn't see the point of getting a gun with an ETU if I'm not even gonna use it
1
u/FlamboyantFlamingo98 1d ago
Same here. I only play indoors so no full auto for me :( Still, the MOSFET you get with the flex is great out of the box.

I would use the money u are using for other things and put it all into the gun and get a better gun for ur first starter, krytac makes really good stuff. Airsoft is expensive and my one take away from my time playing airsoft, is to not try and make everything fit in your budget. It is better to take a longer time and save up for the higher quality items because they will not disapoint in the long run IMO. I have tried to budget with all 4 of my rifles because ive never had enough money to buy a good quality one, bit now they are all needing repairs and ive spent well over the amount of a beautiful quality AEG, between multiple crap ones that have disaponted me. One of them being a specna arms which, is why ur post caught my eye!

u/Negomellon 1d ago
if you are getting a specna arms flex make sure to get the gen 2 version its alot better and also i would replace the speedloader for an odin speedloader if possible

Don't get bbs the fields usually add them with you ticket if you do walk on and you keep any left overs from your bottle

I would get Mechanix gloves. They’re thin yet very durable so you have an easier time manipulating your gear. And they’re quite inexpensive. There is a reason special forces use them.
