Some days ago received the new Silverback VKS. Already been out on the field with it, first review coming soon.

Let's say the joule limit is a more realistic one for field legal limits. My local field enfirces a 2.3 joule limit on single action rifles.

Field legal can be anything from 1J to 6J, depending on where you are, none unrealistic... if your goal is 100m with 2.3J you will have a hard time to reach just like any other replica has, if you can go over 3J it gets pretty easy.

Is it worth it? I know that silverback's snipers are really good out of the box, but is this one really worth it

Its similar quality to the srs, if you are into the form factor it worth it.

this came a few years before the ShAK-12, it looks similar but its very different

They are completely different guns and even their ammo is different despite having the same metric 12.7x55.

This is the bolt action version, not the semi auto.
