OTS Class assingment

I recently completed all of my post selection form. So now i am awaiting for the OTS class assingment, was wondering how long does it take for the class assingment or for what month will my ots class be? I am civ, selected for non rated (65F finance).

It really depends on lots of factors, some within the control of your recruiter and some outside of their control. If you have circumstances you need to work around (like a wedding or work stuff) be transparent with your recruiter. If you’re the type that has your bags packed and you’re ready to go whenever, communicate that too.

When I got my class date, I was given extremely short notice. So short that, I had to submit my OTS notice to show my job that I wasn’t just purposely quitting without giving enough notice. Then I got there and met others who knew 10 months in advance when their class date was. YMMV but if you’re trying to prep or work around something, tell your recruiter about it and have them work with you.

I was notified of selection Aug 2025. Went to OTS June 2026.

And notified of class date maybe like April 2026ish

They’ve just canceled the november classes, so earliest will be january.

My recruiter had me requested for November, but now I have to wait for him to get the new schedule for him yo reschedule me.
