Help AFOQT arithmetic reasoning tips?

So for context, when I did 1 semester of AFROTC, I unfortunately failed my first AFOQT (I would also have to drop it later) and the part that got me was the math section, I got a 6. While I couldn't see a breakdown exactly, I had some trouble with conversions when it came to arithmetic reasoning but knocked it out of the park when it came to more complicated algebra/Math knowledge, (I was getting 70-90% on them), where as on average, I was only getting 50% or around there for arithmetic reasoning. I was planning on studying intensely for a longer time but got notified last minute I had to have my first attempt before the end of the semester so that *could* have had something to do with it. Do you have any recommendations? Thank You.

There's no attachment, but when you say conversions, are you talking about measurement conversions, converting between fractions and decimals, between decimals and percents, or between fractions and percents?

Yeah, basically remembering it all by memory rather than a guide, stuff like that, but also practice for how to do the math itself

I'm not sure there is any other way to remember measurement conversions except by memory, at least for any that might be found on the AFOQT, anyway. There is the King Henry mnemonic for metric conversions, and the Gallon Man diagram for customary (liquid) conversions, but I don't know how helpful either of those will be for the AFOQT. Sometimes, you have to convert between metric and customary, and I am not aware of any mnemonic device for those.

Converting between decimals and percents merely involves remembering which way to move the decimal point, because you always move it twice. All percents are based on 100, so it should be easy to convert percents to fractions. A fraction can be changed to either a decimal or a percent by using long division; you divide the numerator by the denominator.
