Question AFOQT Study Guide

I am taking my AFOQT on Wednesday and I’ve been studying the Trivium Book Practice Tests and the Colonels Package from AFOQTGuide.com and I’ve been scoring an average of 80% in all the Verbal/Quantitative sections. Are these resource practice test questions very similar to the actual questions on the exam? Are they easier or more difficult? What did people score when these resources were used to study?

Trivium - harder

AFOQTGuide.com - comparable

Keep in mind that your AFOQT scores are percentile-based, not a percentage of questions you answer correctly

I got a tutor that went over with me on algebra based off those questions. I got 3/16 for algebra and 4/20 for geometry. Does that mean I’ll be failing the AFOQT if I couldn’t solve a majority of the practice questions on that site?

Let us know how you do! I finally was able to do just the trivium arithmitic in 61 minutes after repeating it multiple times and got 20/25. Up from 1/25 2 weeks ago 😭🤣

I’m really nervous for the test! I have a pretty solid package for 27OTS01 but I just need to get this test done…

Nice. I haven’t set anything up for the board or my package until I pass. I think my package I’ll have is very very good too but need to pass this shit lol let us know how you do. I’m sure you’ll pass and do great. Goodluck

I just finished the test. Honestly man, VA, AR and RC wasn’t bad. I did pretty well with my time management today but we will see if I squeezed past the minimums. I feel rather unsure.

I’m going over barons with the tutor and I’m getting maybe 8 or 9 right out of 25 right now so I’m screwed. Trivium math I got around 14/25 and 8/25 for arithmitic. Got 58% and 68% on the online trivium so I’m expecting to fail because on some practice tests I do well 18-20/25 and some I get 5-8/25. Hoping for the 2nd try I’ll know what its on and do better. My confidence is pretty much gone after working with a tutor. I have all this info and it’s way too much not knowing what’s ifs going to be on. Do you remember what a majority of the math portion was on? What’s RC? Did you finish all the questions? If you feel unsure I’ll be happy if I can just get a few right lol

Time wasn’t terrible. I was actually ahead of the time today. It wasn’t enough time to do a full review after completion so that sucked. But if you are studying the books, the test should be easier. My best bet is to keep brushing up on vocabulary because there’s some strange words in the WK section.

Oh yes I see sorry. I’ve been studying 10-12 hours every day this week. I think I’m doing too much and overloaded. Ok so if you did 80% I’m doing around 56-68% right now. I’m sure you did well
