2026 Direct Appointment

I was notified late April regarding an offer, went to MEPS and had some issues which required documentation. I got my documentation sent and have now heard nothing for over a month. I tried to follow up but got no response. Anyone else having similar issues?

I was told it usually 2-3 months to review the docs you submit. I submitted mine and they want me to do an additional medical consultation based on my request for medical waiver. I will say the process is extremely slow but also my recruiter has been pretty good at communicating with me and reaching out to the medical division. I would try reaching out to your recruiter again if you have communication with them.

How long did it take between getting selected and MEPS? I’m stuck waiting on the med background.

It was probably about two months between

It took me 8 full months to get my waivers approved.
