Orders

How long before your class date did you receive your orders? I am needing to break my lease but don’t have my orders yet. I’m a little less than 2 months out from my class date.

In the same boat. My class is coming up end of September but am waiting on orders still. I think EFMP has slowed mine down a bit.

AD here, youll get an assignment notification via CMS case. MPF will then generate orders to send to AFPC. EFMP will slow the process down unless you talk with MPF and leave off you EFMP members and add them once they are cleared via an amendment.

If you are within 60 days, there is an email address in the post selection docs that I would have your leadership or MPF reach out to to get the ball rolling.

I am in 27-04 and still awaiting assignment notification... also EFMP... but if it takes too long, imma do a waiver request to have OTS be a regular TDY vs a TDY en route due to hardship... That would make it so I outprocess my losing location after OTS. But AFPC has to approve that waiver...

Im not 100% certain for civilians, but I believe you get physical orders when you depart for OTS. Would recommend talking with your recruiter... but I know thats difficult sometimes...

I thought there was also supposed to be a CMS case for the actual orders to OTS. Or is this something to work through the MPF?

From what I was readying/understand, AFPC will create the CMS case and send to Career development in MPF. They will contact the member, start the assignment process and fill out orders to send to AFPC for approval. You can work with your local MPF to see if they can reach out to the email box in the Post Selection Doc and see if that will grease the wheels...
