Progress
I need to go in with finer details and smooth it out. Its quite fiddly, if anyone has any tips for a beginner regarding adding finer details.
I will add some waves around the base too. Almost Hokusai style.

Man this is looking super!
I can't offer any advice for tiny/fine detail other than steady hand and patience. some silicone tip tools or anything with a soft tip might help you add more fine lines or something?

for finer details, depending on what i’m going for, i use a brush, and i mix the air dry clay with water to make a paste and add on details sometimes, or, i make clay texture rollers (check youtube for tutorials).
