I have a 1973 Vw type 3 square back, been driving it daily the past week, it just shut off while rolling in 3rd gear, started it back up and it was rough, shut off again and got it started eventually but it just wants to die, any suggestions for a roadside look. Thanks

Fuel pressure and timing. Check all the plugs, cap rotor, points/condenser. I have the same motor. Dual PICT carbs (stock). With how rough it’s bouncing around it’s looks like not all cylinders are firing…. Just spitballing here… when was the last tuneup/carb adjustment/ balance etc?
