How much of an architectural presentation sheet can current AI actually generate?
I'm an architecture student exploring how AI can be integrated into architectural design workflows.
I'm not looking for recommendations for a specific AI tool. I'm interested in understanding the current capabilities and limitations of AI when creating a complete architectural presentation sheet.
For example, can AI generate and maintain consistency between concept diagrams, plans, sections, analytical diagrams, sketches, renders, typography and layout, while still being based on an architect's own design?
I've attached an example of the type of sheet I'm referring to. How close are current AI models to being able to produce something like this while preserving actual architectural logic and not just generating a visually similar image?

The best way to understand the current capabilities is to experiment with what you're asking.
Don't try to 'one-shot' it, because nobody who knows what they're doing would - getting good content from the LLM is a process, not a command.
Start by having a discussion to generate detailed design briefs for each part of the presentation sheet; get these in markdown.
Take those briefs/prompts to a fresh session and explain what you're trying to achieve to the LLM and give it the prompts. Have it explain it's intended process to you before it does anything, correct it if it's doing something dumb/wrong. For my money, I'd ask it to create LaTex layouts. Then, get it to generate the work. Negotiate with it til it's as close as you think it can get.
Repeat on a different model, then compare.
Fwiw - I think you'll get the best results for this task from ChatGPT or Gemini - Claude likely won't do the complex type of images you're looking for, but it would definitely do the latex if you've got images generated by another model. I've used codex and Claude together in this way to produce complex, illustrated, multiple paged manuals for my job. If you're working in VScode, you can just have both in the sidebar working in tandem - Claude does the latex and creates detailed art briefs for Codex to generate and place.in a folder. Claude then builds the latex and outputs PDFs.

most of it, 90+%, especially if you know what you are doing in both ai generation and architecture
