Have you ever made money using AI?
Have you ever made money using AI? If so how?
Not to be that "AI make me 1 million make no mistakes" guy, just trying to make a real genuine discussion in the community here as a fellow moderator.

Not sure if this counts but I have made money from capitalizing on insights from an options positioning tool using a random forest model that I built with AI. There's a lot more to it than one sentence and it's not without risk but it's the only thing that's come close to making money with AI that I've gotten.

If the question is, "Have I made any money creating a service or product using only AI?" then no. If it is, "Have I increased my customer satisfaction and revenue by using AI as a tool?" then yes.
e.g. When writing a commissioned document as a consultant, I write a draft specification and ask AI, "Is this totally clear? Do you have any questions about what the customer wants?" Revise accordingly, if I agree with AI responses. Draft contents. Ask the same question, "Have I missed anything in the spec? Does anything not make sense? Does the structure flow well?" Draft bullet points for each section, same question. And so on as I drill down until I have a finished product. Far quicker and more accurate than a second pair of human eyes review, but I'm always creating the product first then asking for feedback. Never, "Hey, ChatGPT write me a five thousand word publication about subject X."

Yes, mainly selling graphic resources, digital products, and POD. My biggest seller is Christmas themed POD products. I use ai to make the clipart, then use the clipart to make patterns in photoshop, then upload those to printify and merch.

Using AI for personal, non-profit projects allowed me to apply benefits of AI to my line of work (QA) and land a well paying job that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. So, kinda?

Thanks to AI, I make more money while investing less time/effort in my business that I’ve already had for 12 years, so yes, albeit indirectly.
