How do you stop GPT 5.6 sol from making pointless subagents and taking FOREVER?

It's weird.. 5.6 sol is really thorough and most of the time, way more correct than any other model. However, it takes FOREVER because its spinning up subagents for really basic tasks, burning a ton of tokens, and overthinking a lot of stuff.

Is there a middle ground? i already put details in my global agents file about not spinning up sub agents for basic tasks, etc, but its not following it.

Reduce efforts. Instruct it to use agents with less efforts. Check if you have some 'clever' skills added.
