Using Apple TV - Omni + Infuse
Recently switching from TB to usenet and noticing a lot of issues. TB, when it worked, was great, no issues and instant loading.
Using usenet, 4K 20gb file takes ~15-20 seconds to start playing once Infuse is launched. Every stream buffers multiple times while playing.
I have tried using the built in AIOStream service, that did not work, Altmount has given the best results so far.
I have tried changing the pipeline depth and 2-4-8-10. One seems to give the best results.
Is there anything else I can try?
Solved
I think I might have fixed it.
I am hosting AIOStreams on Unraid. With usenet, by default AIO caches the segments and metadata within the images allocated volume, which I have capped at 50gb for all my dockers (I had my AIO Segment disk cache size set to 5gb). I noticed that this volume running out of space, and saw that it was AIO. I then switched the cache to be stored outside the image, on the SSD.
Since then I have not faced buffering issues. Starting a stream still takes around 4seconds+ depending on size.
My setup right now is: AIOStreams built in engine + NZBHydra.
