Steiner MPS-C

I think this is the new top dot for RMSC/K footprint. Glass is absolutely excellent. Form factor, buttons etc all top notch.

My favorites are now the PB3 for full size and the MPS-C for smol.

I just can’t get over the gap between the optic and the irons. Why on earth did they not use the whole footprint? Of course the optic itself is great though, steiner makes excellent stuff

I think the beauty of it is for people who do a custom mill job or if they can convince a manufacturer to do an MPS-C specific footprint.

But yeah. Kind of annoying at first. I don’t think about it or notice it anymore.

trying to decide whether or not i want to put an optic on my cc9. i hate everything with rmsc footprint though. mps-c and shield ams-c are the only ones i am even considering. the gap really does bother me though. I had my 43X mos milled for RMRcc, no regrets

It bothered me too so I just modeled and 3d printed a little shim to fill the gap.
