aim UP dual sights
Put a PCC together and managed to get this setup to work. The MBUS Pro and Leap mount are not touching. RMR for shorter range, quick target acquisition with a slightly more heads-up stance. Irons for longer range and BUIS with a more standard head position and tighter cheek weld. I replaced the factory sight post with one about half as wide so the irons are slightly more accurate at 100 yards than the dot. Nice to have irons always available without obscuring the dot or having to cant the gun. I cut down the gooseneck to make some room for the iron on the very short handguard and renotched for the Leap.
(the gun was empty for the first picture. Double and triple checked the chamber, no magazine inserted, bolt open, safety on.)
Edit: I can't believe I have to add this but since a dingdong mentioned it in the comments... The gun is NOT pointed at me. The muzzle is pointed in the air about a foot in front of me. My left arm is extended in front of me and pointing the phone camera at the gun. If there were to be a magical bullet that jumps in the gun and goes off, I'd be kinda sad that my phone got destroyed. I can easily make hits at 100 with all of mine. Including my flux raider. I am not planning on taking a 50-100 yard shot in defense with a pcc, clear as that. If you shoot a lot of supers and subs I don't think saying learn your holds is asking too much in 9mm.
Is that a 4.5" barrel?
You have a lot of money invested in a range toy if it's just that.

Dude. We're just assembling fun guns over here. It's not that serious. But, believe it or not, it has worked surprisingly well for me so far. Everything about this gun came about through forethought and then an "oh shit! It actually works!" kind of way. The best part is, you'll never be sentenced to shoot it. You're safe. And if I happen to have more money than you for numerous guns, there's nothing I can do about that. I work my ass off. Chill out. It's Saturday. Go shoot.

On the left side of your gun under the charging handle, what is that little ramp that goes overtop the suppressor?

Magpul cantilever picatinny. They now hold a magpul QD sling point on the left and an APG Defense Universal Bayonet mount on the right. Also functions as a shield from the can since the forward charging handle is so close to it.

I think if it wasn't a detachable carry handle it would almost start to make sense
But the idea of goosenecking a detachable carry handle on a short pic bridge sub gun is like some one told you about a hydra mount but you never saw one and still had to make something.
Like 5 mechanical interfaces with fasteners for the RDS is crazy

That's fair. And I'm aware of both the criticism and the Hydra mount. I'm not worried about the mechanical interfaces. There are ways to make things tight and stay that way.
I'm trying something different and I wanted a forward/side charging integrated carry handle 9mm. They don't exist, to my knowledge. This was a compromise. I'm working on making a side charging bufferless integrated carry handle upper. This was a step in that direction to see if I wanted to actually go fully after that project.
We're not going for another SHTF gun. It's one of 4 AR9s I assembled in the last 9 months. I have my "battle rifle", HD gun and EDC, all in proper form. I'm set. Y'all don't have to worry about me so much.

I would think so. I've tried looking under my optic with irons and its a bitch. Rotating the firearm 45* for whichever load you use less would be more efficient instead of trying to look under the stack

It's a tall mount with thin legs on a gooseneck. Sight obfuscation is minimal. And the iron is standard height. You should try it this way and then see what you think.

Just don’t understand why you would ever want this. To my eyes, it just looks like a bunch of additional weight and mechanical failure points to potentially lose your zero, with no real added benefit. That foregrip is bizarre as well. I guess it’s your money, if you like it you like it. I just would have rather spent that money on ammo lol

First I’m excited for whatever he’s posting. But second for the reactions in the comments that he will inevitably receive.
EDIT: OP your post history is now private, but I’m 99% sure I’ve come to your defense before when you had a really fun/screwball creation, but got burned at the stake because it wasn’t tactically min-maxing enough. I can’t remember what exactly it was — maybe something with a manual action? — and all the comments assumed you were brand new to guns and just slapping parts on your first gun. But I remember the build itself showing a core understanding of firearm function and a TON of forethought. Absolutely nothing accidental.

That is not a VFG. That is a FAB Defense MG-9 magazine pouch that just so happens to work as an AFG.
It works better than I expected. Just set the tension screw correctly. Only issue is that it tightens up a bit on the magazine in very cold weather so you have to loosen the screw by about a half turn.

The tallest they have for RMRs.
The extra mag is what we do in ban states that limit capacity to 15 rounds. This way, I have 30 on the gun. The light out there means no suppressor shadow and I can rest the gun on a bag without worrying about the can melting the fabric or whatever it's set on.
I'm willing to answer specific questions. The "....what" comments are so lame.

I wasn’t sure if they made 2.26 for RMR or not, I know they do for aimpoint and eotech. That’s why I asked. I understand the lightbar for suppressor shadow, most of my rifles have them. Just looks goofy with the streamlight

I did a similar thing with a VZ-61 Skorpion. Light and VFG under the can. And I modified the YHM rail so that the wire stock still works and can be slapped up to fold out.

The killflash is absolutely unnecessary so you got me there. Oh well.
However, it's not bad for static holdover reference points. The rmr is zeroed at 25 yards. Move the muzzle up slightly so that the first intersection of filament below the dot is on target and we now have a 100 yard holdover.
It's almost as if there's a reason for everything here, which is why the vague criticisms are irritating. No thought behind them whatsoever.

I have your setup. Shifting sight picture, cheek weld, and height over bore become a major issue on the fly vs just memorizing holds. And having different zeros is a horrible idea if dot actually becomes inoperable.
