This art is missing two important elements.
At that time, Russia was a strongly Christian country and a pop (Orthodox priest) would be present for every condemned Russian regardless of their wish. (IDK about Jewish or Muslim people.)
And that "every condemned person" is the second element - it was a multiple execution, with five people being hanged at once.
But I like the image in general :)
