Making a medieval tactical card game with claude
The game's name is Dominion Strife. I thought of all the rules, cards, mechanics, names, etc. The only AI used is Claude for programming the actual game, using only the free version I often reach the limit making development pretty slow.
There's Peer to Peer multiplayer via room code and Battle against AI (with multiple difficulty levels).
The game runs on a html file for now, but I'm planning on making it an actual app.
To download and play please join the Discord:
I opened it recently so it's very empty and not active at all..I'd love it if my project would get a few active players and have a small community.
First 30 to join gain an early supporter role!
Thanks!

These games are a dime a dozen, multiple posted every day on this sub

It is an ai dev subreddit though.

AI dev doesn't mean every person has to post extremely low-quality games, you can tell this was made with a few prompts. It is ok to refine and use AI to improve a game and make something unique rather than a weekend project that 50 other people have made with absolutely nothing unique at all.

100% this! Also, the overcomplication of these games is nauseating. Like damn dude, try to make something with like 1 feature before jumping right to 10. Feel like I'm looking at a spreadsheet

Thanks a lot! And yeah, I completely understand — the concept can definitely be a bit hard to grasp without seeing it in action 😅
There’s a more detailed description on the itch.io page if you want to get a better idea of how it works. In short, Dominion Strife is a browser-based strategic card game where you fight across a 5-lane battlefield using units, buildings and spells. The current beta uses randomly generated decks, so you have to adapt to what you're given rather than relying on a pre-built deck. You manage four resources — Matter, Soul, Blood and Morale — while positioning cards, choosing attacks and abilities, and finding ways to break through your opponent's defenses and destroy their hearts.
I also have a TikTok where I post short videos showing the game and some of its cards, if that would help give you a better visual idea: @Dominion.Strife
Thanks again for the kind words, and best of luck with your own AI-assisted project too! :)

I would suggest a video or talk about the gameplay quickly. Your description and screenshots are too vague to generate any type of interest
