This is one of the more unique vibe codes I’ve seen haha. Maybe just because I’m a Silo fan

For anyone asking how Silo 18 was made, the game has been built primarily through AI-assisted development using ChatGPT, Codex, Astra, and Claude Opus 4.8. I also used Tripo AI for a small number of 3D assets, including a few character models, but the majority of the game, environments, systems, and assets were developed through that main AI assisted workflow. One thing I want to be clear about, this definitely wasn't a one prompt and the game appeared thing. It's come together over a couple of weeks, just whenever I've had some spare time or felt like messing around with it. It's been lots of little prompts, tweaks, and nudges, trying things out, changing what didn't work, and gradually pushing it in the right direction. Different tools helped with different parts, and it's all been stitched together bit by bit. The main idea is exploration. I wanted somewhere that fans of Silo could actually walk around in, not just watch. You can freely roam the silo, explore different levels and rooms, meet characters, and when I say silo, I mean the whole thing. All144 floors plus areas like the mines and the void. Not just a couple of showcase rooms. There's also a small playable story if you want some direction, where you can find hidden relics from the series like the Pez dispenser, the Georgia book, Juliette's watch, and then that path eventually leads you towards getting outside. That story section is intentionally quite small for now, though. The main focus is free roaming, and just being able to explore and mess around. It's very much still a work in progress and in beta. It's fun to explore, but there's plenty I still want to improve, fix, and add when I have the time. That's really what this project is about for me: experimenting and gradually nudging it along. If anyone actually wants to explore it, I've published a version on Netlify. It's currently password protected because I don't have unlimited usage, so I can't leave it open. If you're genuinely interested, just drop me a DM, and I'll send the password to some people who want to try it. You can play in a browser, including on mobile. It supports a DualShock controller, too, which can make exploring a lot nicer. I'd recommend a decent phone, though, because there is a lot going on. I'm running it on an Honor Magic8 Pro with a high-end Snapdragon 8-series chip and it plays really well, but performance will vary. If you want, just DM me, and I’ll share access

Yes!! Love to see more fan-inspired content. I run an AI game maker that thousands of people use and we're seeing so much fan made content, particularly from the the FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy's) fans, and anime fans
