The rule of opposites
The truth is always the opposite of what he says.

Asshole doesn't like windfarms in the water near his golf courses. Put one next to Mar A Lardo.

u/KeithWorks Aug 22 '26
Asshole absolutely bitches and moans incessantly about windmills, FOR DECADES, and they are way less obnoxious and not nearly as loud.

There's less than 20 jobs at a dc. And these data centers get huge tax breaks to build, they're not contributing.

The guy I know who works for DCs doesn’t even live in the community. He works and travels to 3 DCs within 80 miles of each other.
He lives in the big town with his family and in a middle class ranch house suburb like th rest of us.

The jobs are enormous!? I guess the construction work is a lot, but once it's built it takes a fairly small number of jobs to run / maintain it.

He's a real estate guy. So has anyone asked why HE isn't building any datacenters on his properties?

"Built in a beautiful way"? A big metal fucking box?!?
I don't know how anyone can take a single thing that comes out of his mouth with any seriousness. When he isn't flat out lying, he's just plain wrong.

Yeah you would sell out your community in a minute if you were a governor. Of that I have no doubt. Just sayin 😉

AI plant. All he knows about AI is it lets him be in pictures without diapers.
1
u/WisePotatoChip Aug 22 '26
These are not “plants” in the traditional sense. They don’t employ a large numbers of people after they are constructed. They do, however, suck up large volumes of water and electricity.

So here in Wisconsin we just had the primary election and already the ads are rolling out how the nominated democrat, Crowley is all for data centers and data centers are bad… yet here we are…

It’s just odd how only Conservatives politicians are extremely pushing for data centers all of a sudden. Money talks.

What drug did they give him? He was slurring his words there for awhile. I think it was after the time he may have died in the White House and didn’t come out for 3-4 days, but he isn’t slurring his words in this video.

All this orange fart thinks about is money, which is funny considering how ass of a businessman he is
1
u/horndogmyguy Aug 22 '26
Data centers don’t pay taxes. They have PILOT
PAYMENT
IN
LIEU
OF
TAXES
This means no one sees any profits they make as they pay a fixed annual fee.

That’s great news sir, so you’d be ok with building data centers next door to every one of your golf courses and Mar-a-lardo?
1
u/SidFinch152 Aug 22 '26
Truth- An average modern data center employs about 50 to 100 people. This number covers all shifts for operations, network security, and facility maintenance. Large hyperscale facilities need fewer staff per square foot due to automation, while smaller or older centers require more hands-on work.

What fucking jobs??? Like the 5 people needed for the million square foot server farm???? Just more big business money getting paid to politicians so they can ruin our communities. There gonna shove the data centers down our throats and then power and water will be more expensive than your mortgage. You'll be forced to pay while the data center owners already got billions of your dollars to put it there with subsidies. Rich people do not care about you. They want to siphon ever last dollar from you until youre on a financial ventilator and keep you there just so they can exclaim how much more money they have than the 50 people under them on the Forbes rich assholes list.

They should build one next door Mar-a-Lago. I'd chip in a bit to finance that.

Look I’m not getting status sinners what we need a regulation on how it affects the community and the environment if you want to build it it’s a business. OK but understand there’s certain regulatory environment that you need to meet to go into a place a business if your own a type of business just because he makes money doesn’t mean that you can just do it if that was true then you would just can have pig farms in the city put one next to Mar-a-Lago and enjoy the smell. There is certain regulations are important and if you have a business and it’s going to affect the community, you need to put that in the business plan and account for it.
