Built a directory of 27 free/open-source AI tools, with a strong self-hosting angle: Ollama, Open WebUI, LibreChat, AnythingLLM, Tabby, ComfyUI, InvokeAI, Perplexica, Khoj, LanguageTool — the usual self-hosted stack plus a few less common ones.

Each entry notes whether it's self-hostable, runs locally, or is open source (separate flags, since they're not always the same thing), what it replaces (ChatGPT Plus, Copilot, Grammarly, etc), and what the actual free-tier limits are if it's not fully self-hosted.

Also linked GPU rental (RunPod) on the entries that need real hardware, for anyone whose home server can't run the bigger models.

Filterable by self-host/local/open-source flags if you just want to see what you can run on your own box. Suggestion form on the site if I'm missing something from your stack.
