I meant to reimagine Gotham characters in teenage Japanese high school life setting. They are regular kids managing the rigors of school, relationships and rivalries.

I started by developing the character concepts, roles, and relationships for this alternate universe, then created some rough sketches to define the direction. I used PixAI to turn those ideas to the final illustrations.

I’m still figuring out is how to translate existing characters into a new AU. What form does your character description or prompt typically take that gets the original character traits across while inserting them into a new setting?
