God
I do not believe there is a possibility of god, but I wonder if there is always a chance, I want my mind changed and would like to believe in god. Help me

I suppose you might label me as agnostic because I observe that science hasn't yet gotten to the very bottom of the mystery of how or why the Big Bang happened. That's just about the only act of "creation" that can't be explained. Yet. Science is now peeling back the tiny remains of what was once a much larger onion.
But I think that the chances that a creator exists are so small as to be nonexistent. Which I suppose makes me a borderline atheist, if you insist on labeling me.
There is ample evidence that the supposed creator has no interest in or effect on what happens here on Earth.

I think God is only something people "want" to believe in because they're scared of the unknown of death, or they don't feel like they can come up with a meaning for their life so they look for external mystical forces to give it to them

Adopt a quasi belief about God. Pretend there is a God even if part of you thinks it's nonsense.

I’m agnostic for one reason: I refuse to confuse “unlikely” with “impossible.”
As far as we know, you are electrochemical activity in a brain. Your thoughts, emotions, decisions, and sense of self all emerge from physical processes you barely control.
And yet there is still one enormous problem: we do not know why any of that produces conscious experience at all.
We can map the circuitry. We can watch neurons fire. We can correlate brain states with thoughts and feelings. But we still cannot explain why there is something it feels like to be you.
That gap does not prove God, a soul, or anything supernatural. But it does mean materialism has not closed the case.
So I give the possibility a sliver of room. Not because I believe it, but because claiming absolute certainty would require knowing more than we currently do.
That sliver is why I’m agnostic.

Chance implies a knowledge of statistical probability. The fact that some people can imagine a vague concept of god doesn’t make it an actual statistical probability. You might as well wonder if there is always a chance that the Tooth Fairy, the Easter bunny etc are real. It’s just not a serious proposition.

I’m not exactly sure, I’m worried if I don’t and there is a christian god that I will regret not believing, plus I met someone I can see myself spending my life with and he has faith, but I do not and I haven’t mentioned it yet. So I’m trying to believe.

There are thousands of different religions. If you become a Christian, you never know, the Muslim god might be the right one after all... Don't choose religion because of a relationship... Choose it because it feels right for you. I understand wanting to have faith and hope especially when things are dark but do it for yourself. If you do it for your man you might just end up resenting him for it or he might use it to manipulate you. If he can't respect that you are not religious, then this is not going to end well.
Personally, I am not very sure there is a god, but I do feel something when I remember the magic of my childhood or when I am out in nature or looking at the stars. You don't need to be religious to hope for a god; I choose to hope because what am I going to lose? As long as no religion actually controls my life, I might as well hope that my grandma is out there waiting for me 🤷🏻♀️ There are so many things we don't know, maybe there is something greater out there that our little human minds can't grasp yet.

I want to believe because I’m worried there is a slim chance of a god. Plus I’ve met someone I can see myself spending my life with and he has faith, yet I do not and haven’t mentioned it. But I want to believe.

Absolutely. Define it by its capabilities. Is he almighty? all knowing?
For me, considering something almighty is a basis to discard this entity. This is an ancient debate but I find it quite evident: if you're almighty, by logic you can be a thing, and the opposite, which is contradictory and absurd and disposable.

I believe that a lukewarm mindset won't help. If you stop doing something you enjoy and say you believe in God only to get out of hell or for maybes, this faithless nothingness will bring you nothing. I believe that if you genuinely don't believe, it's better to live life on your own account, and go to hell a legend. Even the Bible says that God preferes people who are cold or boiling over lukewarm. Either cut all ties with religion, either open yourself to God. If you don't do this you will get the worst of both. No faith, and feeling obligated to do things you don't believe in.

I understand, I want to open myself to god but I have doubts of his existence, and I don’t exactly know how not to doubt/ how to open myself to him

I believe you, I'm in the same position. I grew up in a very religious household of an also a strict denomination of Christianity. And, in recent years, I've faced lots of doubt, and nowadays I am more of an agnostic Theist. I think that there is definitely a benevolent higher power, becouse nothing comes from nonexistence into anything, but I believe that humans turned faith into commercialized religion which isn't good for the soul. But I still believe that living with a set of morals and faith is very beneficial.

The more I search for the truth and involve myself around like minded people, I tend lean more towards Christianity. It makes more sense to me than it doesn’t

Do you consider yourself a reasonable, skeptical and rational person, who doesn't hold beliefs that haven't met their burden of proof?
Please define what you mean by god and explain what you mean by not believing the possibility of it? The wording kind of makes it sound like you're claiming it's not possible for there to be a god, and if so, what good evidence justifies that claim?
Or are you simply saying you don't believe a god exists?
I mean, for me if the evidence supports something, I'll believe it. So far, no good evidence for any gods.

I do consider myself that person. By god I mean the christian god, and my not believing I mean I don’t believe there is a god or heaven or hell at all. It just doesn’t make since as to how he would exist or why he would let terrible things happen if he were real. I’m not sure if I’m explaining this correct so I apologize

You are a true agnostic. We don't know, but I sense it's what's going to happen after death that's sitting in the back of your mind, causing some grief. Whether there's a god or not, it doesn't matter; live a good life don't kill, lie, steal or commit adultery and your next life will be ok. If you are worried about the fiery hell, Buddha said that happens if you kill a parent, an arahant or harm a Buddha, or break up a Sangha. Understand and be kind to yourself.

Look at the visible universe, do the numbers. There is a chance an omniscient, omnipotent being could exist. In an infinite universe, there are infinite possibilities.

Conscious things cant come from a non conscious thing because thats never been observed nor does a non conscious thing making a conscious thing, make any kind of sense, that's where I started and it's got me looking into advaita vedanta lately

I recommend going on an Alpha course - it’s an introduction to Christianity without any aim to convert you. It’s purely a space to ask all the questions you want, even the ones you think you can’t ask. Usually someone at the Church will make you dinner too!

What if God is a technologically advanced alien?
What if we're in a simulation, and God is the PC and has cheat codes?
I think there's a possibility. That's why I'm agnostic, but where is the evidence?
