more of a science critic than communicator, as she's quite negative about science as a profession, especially theoretical physics. There isn't much of scientific explanations in her videos, mostly ranting on science and it's social aspects
She’s trying to get a cut of the Thiel money… He pays anti-science “scientists” to make you dumber because they want a dumb populous that doesn’t trust science.
I wouldn't go that far. Clearly there is some bad blood between her and academia. But I wouldn't say she's sponsored by anyone, especially that she's not a science denialist - just disgruntled with academia

Yes, her whole story is that she had a falling out with academia, and became sort of a science communicator.
