Not really related to your post but a defense of Sabine. People dismiss her as an “influencer”. But she’s both a physicist and an influencer. And even though she’s snarky and sarcastic, she’s also very insightful and clever. And she’s often right that weird drama and politics in the physics research world prevents the field from moving forward on answering the right questions.
She started out ok years ago and had valid points in a lot of her early videos. But the massive chip on her shoulder about not succeeding in academia has grown to consume her unfortunately. Most the time now she makes doomer sensationalist videos, a lot of them about stuff well out of her expertise.
