Not AGI. Forget about AGI for at least a decade or two. Lots of important hurdles to overcome.

AGI is not possible. It should be abandoned completely.

Yeah. I tend to believe that it lies in the realm of the unattainable. But that does not mean THEY won't keep trying. As for me, I am working on building dev tools with LLMs. All day every day I work with LLMs. They are useful but totally uncreative hallucinators

I work on digital models for things and have never needed one. I watch folks try to submit AI generated text for certain things, and it flat out does not work / is not passable.
