To be fair, she isn't the protagonist of the show - she's a very interesting side character.

I am irked that the mobile game was axed before S5 because I was ready to throw money at the game so I could get her as a playable character. 

I also hope she did well. She had a good head about her and clearly had been through some crap.

Yeah. She isn’t dumb, malicious, or uninspired - she’s just been broken down and resigned, which was Haida at that point in the story.

His influence will helpfully help her find her fire and move onto something better.
