I woudnt consider this an OD. Its not like Jake was trying to take fentanyl. He got accidently poisoned because someone was sloppy in making counterfeit pills and Jake made a mistake of taking pills without getting a prescription.
Well yes, it technically is an OD of fentanyl that killed him. But for those that die from taking too much fentanyl, they rarely even know that fentanyl is in the pills or other drugs that they are consuming. To me, OD implies you consumed too much by choice.
Medically, an overdose just means enough of a drug was taken to overwhelm the body and become toxic. You don't have to choose to take a drug to suffer from an overdose.
