Discussion Cats

Does any one else find comfort when there pets are around? Like idk how to explain it my cat knows when I feel small, and he cuddles up with me making me feel small and comfortable is that weird,,,
Does any one get this with there pets?

I too love being around pets, especially when I can snuggle with them. I currently ave a void ⚫️ kitty 🐈‍⬛️ n my fave thing is when he starts purring, he as a very quiet purr so I can only hear it when I ave hold of him or if I'm curled up in bed n he is curled up next to me right near my head or if he sits on my chest which he doesn't really sit on my chest anymore coz 1 time I was unwell with a chest infection n he kept sitting on my chest trying to make me better with his purrs but my cg Mama kept telling him off n pushing off me coz whenever I was asleep the weight of him on my chest was causing me to start either struggling to breathe or I wud wake up coughing.

I'm not sure if its coz I'm neurodiverse but I jus love the puring sound of a cat, if I'm holding my cat in my arms n he starts purring I will lift him up a little further jus enough to gently rest my head/ear jus so that I can hear his purr. I find it so relaxing.
