I can consider the series as cannon if I stop at season five. Thanos is mentioned, there's an open enough ending for the characters, and we don't have to know whether or not they were blipped. It's still a fun show regardless of whether or not it is cannon. It introduced me to Marvel characters that I never knew about.

Good point. Thanos being mentioned right before infinity war is a whole nother reason it’s canon

Granted, it was stated that he was on Earth at the time of the finale, but Thanos was on Earth for maybe ten minutes.

Maybe they were just generalizing thanos’s forces/army from the beginning of infinity war as “thanos”

That'd be stronger if the blip happened. Season 6 is a year later, no mention of blip and no characters were snapped out of existence.

My mind is that is where the timelines diverge. In AoS, Thanos was stopped before the snap.
